Caramel Popcorn

  • 1 cup popped Popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  1. Combine butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt in heavy sauce pan.
  2. Heat and stir over medium heat until boiling. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
  3. Add vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn and toss until well coated.
  4. Spread in ungreased aluminum large pan.
  5. Bake 250 degrees farenheit and stir every 15 minutes.
  6. Place in decorative bags. Great for a birthday party or Christmas gift.
