Mom's famous Buttermilk Recipe
Mom always added her love to a recipe making it extra special. This is a Sunday morning favorite!
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp soda
- 2 ¼ cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cup unbleached flour
Beat eggs and buttermilk, add salt, soda and flour slowly. Add the baking powder last and just before cooking on cast iron griddle. If dough is too thick just add more buttermilk.
